Recruitment

hw&h takes particular care in the recruitment of its future associates whose university curriculum and experience must enable them to understand and master the complex legal challenges of our international clients.

Associates

hw&h recruits associates on a regular basis.

We look for candidates with solid legal skills. A very good mastery of German and English is indispensable and a two-prong education (for e.g., legal studies supplemented by business studies) is appreciated.

Candidates must be holders of the CAPA [certificate of aptitude to the profession of attorney] or/and its German equivalent, the Zweites Staatsexamen.

hw&h offers its associates a dynamic and motivating French-German working environment, within a structure which has maintained a human scale.

Associates are attached to a team dedicated to one or several of the firm’s areas of activities. hw&h encourages its associates to both advise and litigate.

Recruitment of associates is decided on the basis of an application file (resumé and covering letter), followed by individual interviews and tests.

Interns

hw&h proposes 2 to 6 month-internships intended for Master I and Master II students as well as attorney interns and Rechtsreferendare.

Interns are attached to a team and accompanied by a partner throughout their internship. They take part in all activities and are more particularly involved in documentation and case law research, drafting memorandums and contributing to drafting consultations and pleadings.

Recruitment of interns is decided on the basis of an application file (resumé and covering letter), followed by individual interviews.
