hw&h Hertslet Wolfer & Heintz opens Munich office- Flash news
hw&h Hertslet Wolfer & Heintz, the Paris-based Franco-German business law firm, has extended its presence in Germany by opening an office in Munich on September 1, 2023.
For more than 30 years, hw&h has been assisting its clients, mainly German and French companies, with their activities in France and Germany, both as advisors and in litigation before national courts.
The move to Munich is part of a dynamic flow of business between France and Germany, and the growing demand for legal advice that goes beyond technical expertise to include cultural, economic and social considerations.
This approach characterizes hw&h’s lawyers, who have a dual French and German education, or even a dual culture, and advise and support their clients with a daily focus on building bridges between France and Germany and securing their business in an efficient and pragmatic way.
Located in the heart of the city, the Munich office will be headed by Dr Konstanze Brieskorn, currently in charge of German employment law and German and international business law at hw&h.
With the support of the Paris partners and teams, the Munich office will offer advisory services in business law, corporate law, competition law, employment law, insurance and industrial risk, data protection and real estate law, in both German and French law, and will also support hw&h clients in any litigation in Germany.
Dominique Heintz, Partner at hw&h, comments:
“One of our main goals is to get closer to our clients, whether they are French companies present or investing in Germany, or German companies active and investing in the French market. Munich was chosen because of the strong presence of many French companies and the tremendous economic power of Bavaria, as well as the many cultural and economic links between the Bavarian capital and its surroundings and France. We are looking forward to an even closer collaboration between our teams and our clients.“
Dr Konstanze Brieskorn, Managing Director of the Munich office, adds:
“I’m delighted to be taking over the management of our Munich office, and I share Mr Heintz’s enthusiasm for the economic potential of Munich and Bavaria. Together with my colleagues, and thanks to our extensive network, we look forward to providing our clients with our Munich-based services and legal and economic expertise.“
